Here are a few interesting animation videos that I found on Vimeo. Now that I've learned how to share there will probably be lots of these from now on.

Stop Motion from lalivingston on Vimeo.

A nice example of paper cut-out animation.

The Moment of Beauty from Takayuki Sato on Vimeo.

I'd say this was done in After Effects using particles and it's a good example of what can be done

Milow - We must be crazy from Norman Bates on Vimeo.

Not sure what to make of this one. Although it's based on the story of Pinocchio, I couldn't help feeling that this reminded me more of the story of Frankenstein. Being interested in model/puppet making myself I found the baby a bit too realistic. Not that that's a bad thing but it's kind of freaky. I like the fact that the baby doesn't age and ends up alone when the couple eventually die, you actually feel sorry for it even though you know it's not really alive, but again that's probably due to how realistic it is.

Richard Hickey - Francis from Not To Scale on Vimeo

I liked this for the atmosphere that was created by the lighting and camerawork.
